Ocarina of time master quest fire temple

Right now, I think I prefer both Wind Waker HD and BOTW to OOT. I still really enjoyed the game btw, I just wonder if I would've ranked it higher in my Zelda rankings had I played the original first. I didn't know that fire arrows could open the closed eye on the wall at Shadow Temple. I was stuck at Fire Temple, because I was unaware you could hookshot onto torches Also stuck in the boulder room at Spirit Temple, this room used the Ocarina in a way that is nowhere else found in the game I was stuck at Spirit Temple, because I didn't know you could hookshot onto enemies I had only a few moments where I was truly stuck and might've used walkthroughs: Does it really matter which version I played for the first time? Here I find out that original and master quest walkthroughs have completely seperate tutorials! I finished it on Master Quest nonetheless, but I do wonder if I got the best experience playing this way.

But at some point, I find myself stuck in a dungeon, having to look up walkthroughs.
